Same same, but different! This is basically what a vertical tasting is: Tasting the exact same wine, but from different vintages!
In this vertical tasting that Rafael has curated for us, you get the chance to taste how the different weather conditions influence the flavour profile of a wine and how a wine matures in the bottle over the years. With the youngest vintage being 2021 and the oldes 2001, Rafael has gathered a lineup spanning 20 years! The wine in question is a left-bank Bordeaux from Chateau Laffitte Laujac, a medium-big producer that is available commercially.
